We trust everyone has had a great Easter break and made the most of the school holidays. After a very long twelve week term, I was certainly in need of a rest!
...So it is great to come back to a new term refreshed and recuperated! Mrs Campbell is currently enjoying an overseas mission trip in Israel. She will be back in week 5. Mrs Cutforth and Mrs Pye are taking her place while she is away. Mrs Cutforth will be teaching our class each Friday.
We welcome a new year 5 student to our class, Michael-Jon. Haere mai, Michael-Jon! It is a great pleasure to have him as part of our class and he is settling in really well. The students have made him feel welcome and are helping him fit right in.
There will be no swimming this term, but we look forward to the WPSA Inter-schools Winter Sports Day Tuesday 10 June, yr
7&8 , Tuesday 17 June Years 4-6. (Postponement days will be Fridays of the same week). Please place these dates in your diary, as we will require some assistance with transport. Thank you very much!
In order to prepare, we will receive coaching from some Year 11 students during our P.E. session every Thursday, as it is part of their NCEA Level 1 course. This has worked very well in the past.
