Have a lovely Easter!

Thank you so much to all the parents that assisted with the Year 7 and Years 4-6 Summer Sports days this term.  :-)

School Dress Code:

Some students have been wearing very short shorts.  (Though they may be currently in fashion, they do not meet our school dress code and can reveal more than students intend, particularly when sitting).  Please ensure that your child also comes to school in tops that do not expose the midriff, and if wearing shorts, that they are just above the knee in length. Thank you.

Here is a review of our dress code:

Appearance
At CRS we have consistently allowed parents and students to choose the clothes they wear, as long as they meet Biblical standards of modesty. Clothing clearly needs to be practical and comfortable as well as suitable for a co-educational Christian environment. Obviously this means many personal tastes and preferences may need to be sacrificed to achieve this standard.
The guidelines are as follows:
  • Tops must have sleeves.
  • Midriffs must not be exposed even when stretching.
  • Skin tight clothing, or clothing that attracts attention to the wearers body, is unsuitable at school.
  • Shorts/longs are not to be worn is such a way as to show underwear or boxers.
  • Skirts/Shorts should be just above knee length, or longer.
  • No see through materials.
  • Girls are not to wear low cut tops.
  • Make-up is not necessary at school.
  • In relation to body piercing, female students may have a single stud in each ear only.
  • We would prefer that hair was not coloured, but if it is, natural colours only please.
I have now uploaded photos of our Survival Swimming last Thursday.  Please scroll down to see them.
