Technology Challenge Term 3!

In term 3 our students embarked on a voyage of discovery...

- What can they create with 2 batteries and 3 light bulbs?

The possibilities can be endless!

Brainstorming:

  • Students will draft various designs and settle upon one.
  • list the materials they need and where they can source them.
Please check out this site for ideas: on using electric circuits to make games and activities.

(Scroll down this blog for photos of many possible ideas)...

This week we are refining our brainstorming to settle upon one feasible idea.

Children will be encouraged to name a "target market" for their design.

Once a concept drawing is formulated, this will need to be translated into an electrical circuit drawing.

These links are very useful to explain the design process and present new ideas:

How to Brainstorm ideas (Be sure to scroll down).

For those hands-on mums and dads out there:  we have: Squishy Circuits

Some are even keen to buy extra pieces such as buzzers... You may like to try: Surplustronics online store
or 100% Barrels
